About

Welcome to my blog! I’m not really a fan of these ‘About Me’ pages but here goes….

The most important thing is that I am a Christian. I realize in today’s time that word doesn’t mean much to a lot of people. It does to me. I wear that title unashamed. Jesus is everything to me, and apart from Him I am absolutely nothing. I am a wife to my very best friend and a proud (tired) mama of some sweet, energetic little boys. I’m a stay at home mom, and my husband is in full-time youth ministry. That means we spend a lot of time with some pretty awesome teenagers!  Guilty pleasures are Hallmark Christmas movies, 90’s music, The Office, Hobby Lobby, reading and coffee. Lots of coffee.

This blog is a new adventure for me, and while we’re being honest you should know that I’m so NOT a blogger. I’ve never wanted a blog or felt like I had anything worth writing about. Until now. Recently, my husband and I lost our youngest son Collier Grant, who was stillborn at 25 weeks. The pain from this experience is what lead me to start writing. To share with you what I’m learning on my journey toward healing. I’m not sure what your story is, and while it may look very different from mine my prayer is still the same—that somehow through my words you will find hope and healing for yourself. I also hope that the Lord will prove himself faithful to you, just as He continues to do for me.
